Our Passover/ Our Priest

As I read the scriptures about the event of Jesus being taken from the garden, and brought before the High Priest and his council...I am reminded of the poem...Unlocked Sight!

Who do we see when we look on Him?
Son of God, or Son of men?

Caiphas, the high priest at the time of Jesus, demands Jesus to answer him as to who He is.  Jesus is silent.  Then one of the officers standing by, strikes Jesus.

Then Caiphas asks, are you the Messiah, Son of God?  And Jesus said...."You have said it".
When Jesus further states that Caiphas will see the Son of man coming on clouds of glory...I believe He is answering the "sight" of Caiphas.  This is what Caiphas saw...a son of man.  Not knowing that he was about to condemn the Heavenly High Priest of Elohim Himself.  The Greater One!

Mat 23:13
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

The clash of forces that day?...religious reasonings of man, versus truth of God...
The New Testament about to fulfill the demands of the Old.  The new Priesthood of Melchizadek, which will never end....taking the place of the Levitical Priesthood of Moses.

So who do you see?  Eyes that see, ears that hear....take us from the sheepfold to the Door.  The very gate of heaven Himself...we must enter...be converted to enter the Kingdom of God and His Son.

Ask...
